How do I apply for the apprenticeship?

Students currently in high school or about to graduate can apply by filling out our online application at              https://www.fagerframing.com/careers .  Whether you join our team during the summer while you attend high school or post-graduation, your work ethic and desire to learn is essential!  If you have good attendance and receive a positive 60-day review, Fager Framing/Deckworks will continue your employment after your 60-day review and you will begin the apprenticeship bonus program.

Bonus Program Payments:

Payments will occur on the first paycheck following your post-graduation three month, six month, one year and two year anniversaries.  Payments are contingent that you have met the criteria outlined – good attendance, positive reviews, and a good work ethic.  As outlined above, if you join our team for the summers between your sophomore/junior or junior/senior year, you will receive an additional $500 at one year.

What if I don’t have any experience?

Experience is not necessary, but a desire to learn and a good work ethic certainly is!  We want students who are looking to start a career with a leader in the local construction market.  If you have the desire and work ethic, we will give you everything else you need to start a long rewarding career.

What kind of benefits can I expect working for FFI/DW?

Other than a great team environment and on the job training with the leading framing company in the Cedar Valley, FFI/DW offers competitive starting wages.  Also, after 60 days of work, you will be eligible for health and dental insurance and employer paid life and disability insurance.  IRA enrollment at one year.
